I had been looking for such a mirror for awhile now and have found them to be quite expensive, so I was glad to find one that was affordable for me. It was easy to mount, and is convenient for every view that you need. The down side is, that you have to put something in or around the scissor part of it because when it is extended out, it doesn't stay in place and I find myself constantly trying to bring it back where I need it. Also, when it is extended all the way out, the mirror seems too heavy for the scissors and arcs downward. You have to play with the slide mounts on the poles and physically move them up so the mirror doesn't bend the scissors.

I ordered this bathroom fixture for personal hygiene reasons. I didn't expect it to be so nicely constructed and decorative. Very highly polished chrome surfaces and the expanding scissors action is very smooth. The fixture was extremely easy to install with two long screws. The mirror swings nicely around from regular to 5X. You wouldn't believe what you can see in 5X that a regular mirror doesn't show ... To conclude, a very good fixture at a nice price and I expect to use this mirror for years to come. Recommended.
